Those block parties where particular among African American and Hispanic individuals, which live in the Bronx, New York. This culture is known to be rooted to the ancient African culture and its oral tradition.

Rap mixtapes are part of the rap culture since it has been involved on the rap industry since its beginnings. A rap mixtape is a music recording of a rap artist. Nowadays a rap mixtape can be found on the Internet or the musicians official website. These rap mixtapes rarely have tracks that are played on the radio. There are various rappers who have gained their career success through mixtapes.
